my advisor will be on NPR tomorrow!

My advisor Lynn will be on NPR tomorrow, as part of a panel discussion on gender differences in learning. If you're interested in checking it out, it will be between 2-3:00 on NPR Science Friday (part of Talk of the Nation). Our local station doesn't carry it, but the Philadelphia one (WHYY) does, and they have a streaming listen live link.

Horray!

UPDATE--at 5pm. There is a little blurb on the bottom righthand side of the Talk of the Nation page. It says:
Coming up (Dec 2): A look at what science says about differences in the male and female brain when it comes to cognitive ability and academic achievement.

How cool is that? Did you read Jack's post about being on NPR to ask a question? Everyone (b/c 2 people counts a s everyone..) is on NPR lately! You should be next!

Cool! It sounds like an interesting show to listen to, and I love Talk of the Nation (especially Science Friday!). Our local NPR station only carries the first hour of TOTN, and I think I'll be occupied at that time anyway, but I'll definitely catch it online!
