What is your ecological footprint?

A friend of mine told me about this site and it is very interesting:

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT QUIZ

It is a quiz of 14 questions (e.g. how many miles on average do you drive each week? is the food you eat locally grown or processed?) that estimates how many acres your existence takes up. My footprint is 21 acres (24 is the average for Americans), and if everyone lived like I do, we would need 4.5 earths. Worldwide, there exist 4.5 biologically productive acres per person. :-O

More about how the quiz works and what criteria it uses is available HERE.

Take the quiz if you are interested. It is humbling.

Hey, I got a 22. I'm guessing we had mostly the same stuff, except I got an extra point or fraction thereof for being an occasional meat eater.

Yikes, right? If only the lawmakers, corporate heads, city planners, etc., could all see the results of this too. Thanks for posting it!
